Just as ancient Egypt, nail color indicated one's status, black for noblemen and green for the normal man. Around once, 3000 B.C., the first toe nail polish started in ancient China. It had been created from beeswax, egg whites, gelatin, veggie dyes, and gum arabic. Chinese language dipped their claws in this concoction for several hours or kept it on to dried. Colors ranged from pink to red, with respect to the combination of the ingredients. Through the Zhou Dynasty, 600 B.C., royalty used this simple toenail polish with gold and silver dust on the nails showing their social status.
