Nail art work is an innovative way to color, decorate, enhance, and embellish the nails. It is a kind of artwork that can be done on fingernails and toenails, usually after manicures or pedicures. A manicure and a pedicure are beauty treatments that trim, shape, and polish the nail. Often the cuticles are removed by these procedures and soften the skin across the toenails.The exact origin of toe nail treatments is unclear, since it appears to have originated in several parts of the global world around the same time. In ancient Egypt, from 5000 B.C. to 3000 B.C., women would dye their nails with henna to point public seductiveness and status. Women of the low class wore neutral and pastel shades, as the upper classes wore deep, bright shades. In Babylonia, 3200 B.C., men, not women, decorated their fingernails with dark-colored and inexperienced kohl, an ancient aesthetic. To get ready for warfare, warriors of Babylon put in hours having their toenails prepared, wild hair curled and acquired other similar beauty treatments. Such as ancient Egypt, nail color indicated one's status, black for noblemen and green for the common man. Around the same time, 3000 B.C., the first nail polish originated in ancient China. It was made from beeswax, egg whites, gelatin, vegetable dyes, and gum arabic. Chinese dipped their fingernails in this concoction for several hours or still left it on to dry out. Colors ranged from red to red, depending on the combination of the ingredients. Through the Zhou Dynasty, 600 B.C., royalty used this simple toe nail polish with silver and gold dust on the nails to show their social status.
