Nail artwork is an innovative way to paint, decorate, enhance, and embellish the fingernails. It is a kind of artwork that you can do on toenails and fingernails, usually after manicures or pedicures. A manicure and a pedicure are beauty treatments that trim, shape, and polish the nail. Often these methods take away the cuticles and soften the skin across the nails. The exact origins of toe nail treatments is unclear, since it appears to have originated in various parts of the global world around the same time. In ancient Egypt, from 5000 B.C. to 3000 B.C., women would dye their toenails with henna to point sociable position and seductiveness. Women of the low class wore neutral and pastel shades, while the upper classes deep wore, bright shades. In Babylonia, 3200 B.C., men, not women, decorated their toenails with green and black colored kohl, an ancient aesthetic. To get ready for warfare, warriors of Babylon spent time having their nails prepared, mane possessed and curled other similar beauty treatments. As with ancient Egypt, nail color indicated one's status, black for noblemen and green for the normal man. Around the same time, 3000 B.C., the first toe nail polish started in ancient China. It was created from beeswax, egg whites, gelatin, veg dyes, and gum arabic. Chinese language dipped their nails in this mixture for several hours or remaining it on to dry out. Colors ranged from red to red, with respect to the combination of the ingredients. During the Zhou Dynasty, 600 B.C., royalty used this simple toe nail polish with silver and gold dust on the nails showing their social status.
