It had been created from beeswax, egg whites, gelatin, veggie dyes, and gum arabic. Chinese language dipped their claws in this combination for several hours or kept it to dried up. Colors ranged from green to red, depending on combination of the ingredients. Through the Zhou Dynasty, 600 B.C., royalty used this simple toe nail polish with gold and silver dust on their nails showing their social status.
