Nail art is an innovative way to coloring, decorate, enhance, and embellish the fingernails or toenails. It is a type of artwork that can be done on toenails and fingernails, usually after manicures or pedicures. A manicure and a pedicure are beauty treatments that trim, shape, and polish the nail. Often these procedures take away the cuticles and soften the skin surrounding the claws. The exact source of toenail treatments is unclear, since it appears to have originated in several parts of the world around the same time. In ancient Egypt, from 5000 B.C. to 3000 B.C., women would dye their claws with henna to point public seductiveness and position. Women of the lower class wore neutral and pastel shades, while the upper classes deep wore, bright shades. In Babylonia, 3200 B.C., men, not women, decorated their toenails with dark and inexperienced kohl, an ancient cosmetic. To prepare for battle, warriors of Babylon put in time having their fingernails or toenails prepared, wild hair acquired and curled other similar beauty treatments. Such as ancient Egypt, nail color indicated one's status, black for noblemen and green for the normal man. Around the same time, 3000 B.C., the first toe nail polish started in ancient China. It was created from beeswax, egg whites, gelatin, veg dyes, and gum arabic. Chinese language dipped their fingernails or toenails in this mixture for several time or remaining it to dry out. Colors ranged from green to red, with respect to the combination of the ingredients. Through the Zhou Dynasty, 600 B.C., royalty used this simple nail polish with silver and gold dust on the nails showing their social position.
